Centre – Flower Base

• Round 1: MR, ch 2, work 12 dc in the MR, then sl st to ch-2. (12)

• Round 2: Ch 2, dc in the same st, dc inc around, then sl st to ch-2. (24)

• Round 3: Ch 2, dc in the same stitch, dc inc in the next stitch, then (1 dc, inc) around. Sl st to ch-2. (36)

• Round 4: Ch 2, 1 dc, inc, 1 dc, then (1 dc, inc, 1 dc) around. Sl st to ch-2. (48)

Green Leaf Round

Change to green yarn and join in any dc

• Round 5: Work (ch 2, dc, ch 2, dc2tog, sc) in the same stitch.
  Then repeat {skip 2 st, (dc2tog, ch 2, dc2tog) in the next stitch, sc} 15 times.
  Sl st to the marked stitch. (16 clusters)

Tulip Flower Round

Change to the flower colour and join in any ch-2 space.

• Round 6: Sc, ch 2, work 5 dc in the next ch-2 space and 5 dc in the following ch-2 space.
  Return to the first dc and slip stitch into the fifth dc to close the tulip petal.

• Make the leaf clusters: (ch 3, sc) three times.

• Ch 2, then sc in the next ch-2 space.

• Repeat: ch 2, work 5 dc twice, close the petal, (ch 3, sc) three times,
  then ch 2 and sc in the next ch-2 space. Continue around to make 16 flowers.
